There's a Leprechaun in the House

Occasionally as a medium, a soul or spirit will decide to follow me home. sometimes they make themselves known right away and other times they gather up their energy until they have enough to make a grand entrance. That has been the case this time around.

We've had farm animals let out of the pasture. We've had the outdoor faucet left on which flooded a corner of the pasture. Things we thought may have been a prankster of a neighbor. Then we had the knocking at the door and when my granddaughter went to answer, the knocking came from the window. That's when we knew we had someone otherworldly come to visit.

Of course, it became time for me to try to figure out who the culprit was. Stubborn spirits are irritating. Finally, I got two words. Cheeky. Bastard. That could only mean one thing. The little fellow decided to follow me home from Ireland. That was further confirmed by my dear fellow medium and then by the chap singing "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" to top off the day. Since he won't tell me his name, we will just refer to him as 'leprechaun'. Maybe that will tick him off enough to reveal his identity. Maybe not. He's been really quiet this weekend. Thankfully.

This isn't the first time someone has followed me home and pulled pranks. Not by a longshot. Sort of gives new meaning to haunted houses. My house is by no means old. But there are times it is haunted. We've just learned to live with the odd things that occasionally go on here at the ghostly hands of those who have crossed over...or have chosen not to cross over. Which is the case of our current resident spirit.

I'm just going to let him hang out for now and have made it clear that the pranks involving the animals have to stop. Hopefully, we have come to a mutual agreement on that. In the meantime, I'm going to cross my fingers that the bloke will share some of his leprechaun magick with us.

I do have some news to share with my local friends. I will be doing readings on Sundays in April at a new shop in Marion, IN. Enchanting Garden will be hosting three of us on alternating days. I will be there on Sundays from Noon until 6 pm at 110 E 4th Street, Marion, IN which is on the south side of the courthouse square. I'll be there every Sunday in April with the exception of Easter Sunday. I hope you can stop in and see me...or one of the other talented mediums there.
