Full Moon Time Again!

Tomorrow is the Wolf Moon. The first full moon of the new calendar year. And it's going to eat the planet Mars. Not really...but it is going to eclipse the planet Mars.
We have snow on the ground here in Indiana, so instead of doing the moon water collection, I will be filling a bucket full of snow and bringing it in to melt on the wood stove. And this water will be used for both my frankincense and my lavender soap. Both of which you will be able to purchase right here from my site.
What else am I doing during this full moon? Well, I certainly will not be doing any type of outside ritual since it is probably going to be around 5 degrees. I think what I will probably do is a nice detox bath by candlelight with some meditation and discussion with my spirit guides. It's a chance to try out my new product...bath salts made from sea salt, magnesium flakes, with a bit of lavender and rose petals tossed in. I"m in need of some inspiration, so I will be setting that intention before I start meditating.
Yesterday, I started working on some projects for items to sell here on my site as well as when the spring/summer/fall market season starts. I'm waiting for the rest of my product to get here so that I can make up a batch of not just frankincense soap, but also a companion face cream to go with it. This combination is good for older skin. I will also be making lavender soap and face cream which is good for reducing irritation and blemishes. Both will be available right here on my website.
I got out my Home Apothecary book today so that I can reference it as I order seeds and plants for the garden. Yes, I know it's the dead of winter, but my fingers and toes are itching to dig in the dirt and get grounded. Once the holidays are over and that first seed catalog arrives, the spring fever starts. It's just in my make up!
I hope you all take advantage of tomorrow's Wolf Moon and do something to pull from the energy of this full moon. Celebrate and honor the element of water if you are in the colder climates and celebrate the element of fire if your weather permits. Take the time set your intentions for the new year (even though we all know it doesn't really begin until spring) to be ready to accept all the prosperity the year will bring to you.
Blessed be my friends...
