My Spirit Guide Told Me

My spirit guide told me to talk to you about the constraints of religion today. Just another reminder that you don't need religion to have a spiritual relationship with our Creator. The Source. The Light. We all come from this source. and it dwells inside of us.

So, what is this light inside of us? Call it consciousness. Intuition. That gut feeling that tells us what we are supposed to do. And whether we listen to it or not is our choice. Free will. And this free will leads to learning the lessons which we decided to learn long before we incarnated into our human bodies.

Our choices. They are going to give us rewards or they are going to give us consequences. Either way, those choices we make with our free will lead us closer to learning the lessons we are supposed to learn.

This leads me to wonder, do we know ahead of time how easy or difficult our lives are going to be before we come to our human existence? My guide chuckles at this and I'm guessing he knows the answer because we discussed it before I hopped off that cloud we were sitting on before my soul took the journey into my physical body.

I'm being told to get back to the topic of the day. Religion. Something created by man to control the masses. All are similar in that they have a central "God" by different names. They all have something similar to what the Christians refer to as "Heaven". But which one is right? How can there be so many that say their religion is the only religion to be followed?

There have been so many wars fought over the concept of religion. So much blood shed. Lives lost. How can any part of that be "right"? It simply cannot. I'm being told to refer to the golden rule...do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's a good rule to go by. The only rule to go by. If everyone would put religion aside and merely follow that one rule, we would have peace on earth.

Perhaps we aren't supposed to have peace on earth, for it we did, would there be any lessons learned? I don't know. I just know that my heart is telling me that things are about to get really ugly in this world we call home.

We have religions battling for control of us all and they are using the political and socioeconomic resources to separate us into smaller factions. For a group of people divided is much easier to control. And enslave. We, as humans, were never meant to be enslaved. if only we could discard the constraints of every religion of man, this would not happen. What would it take for that to happen?
