The Promise of Everlasting Life

In a world full of uncertainty, the human heart longs for reassurance that love and consciousness do not end with physical death. Across spiritual traditions and throughout the Bible, we find the profound promise of everlasting life. This is not just a distant hope; it is a living reality that offers comfort, guidance and connection with those who have passed. As a medium and a spiritualist with a Christian upbringing, Spiritualism has pulled all of my learnings together into an understanding that I had not found previously. I had so many questions, and finding a group of spiritualists with their wealth of knowledge and wisdom has brought it all together for me.
The premise of Spiritualism is the belief that the soul survives physical death and can communicate with the living through mediums. This belief is compatible with Christian teachings because it is an affirmation of life after death and even the existence of the spiritual realm (Heaven). How comforting is this to a person who has lost a loved one in human life to be able to understand that the person's soul lives on in the spiritual realm? To know that their loved one is just a breath away.
Everlasting life is presented consistently as God's gracious gift through faith or belief in Christ and not something that is earned through works or behaviors alone. One of the most stand out presentations I have attended was by a gifted medium who facilitated a class on life after death where she told us at the very beginning that "everyone goes to Heaven". In this context, she was referring to the spiritual realm where spirit resides once it has left the restraints of its human body. There are many Bible verses referencing eternal/everlasting life such as John 10:28 "I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand".
The Bible is overflowing with God's assurance of eternal life for those who seek Him, and Jesus described it as a present gift and a future hope in John 5:24 "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged..." Verses such as this paint a picture of a loving Creator who desires to have a personal relationship with us now and forever.
As a clairvoyant and messenger for the spirit world, I have often witnessed how this promise manifests in real ways. Spirit communication frequently brings evidence of continued existence, love that endures and even guidance from those who have transitioned. These messages align with the Bible's assurance that death is not the end and that our souls persist, grow and remain connected to those we love.
